  • Welldoc Diabetes Rx/OTC is an FDA-cleared medical device (“BlueStar”), intended for use by healthcare providers and their adult patients with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. For full labeling information, visit [please apply online] The other Welldoc products are non-FDA-cleared and intended to promote general wellness and education/self-management of various chronic disease states.


Job Purpose


As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Inside Sales and work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for supporting our sales organization by proactively identifying, nurturing, and creating new opportunities with prospects. You will be on the frontlines of the go-to-market organization at Podimetrics, acting as the first human contact our prospects have with our organization. The SDR team bridges the gap between Marketing and Sales to grow our business by impacting one of the most critical KPIs for the business: pipeline revenue. You will learn technical skills and selling skills that will lay the foundation for your career at Welldoc.


Responsibilities

  • Balance proactively identifying new opportunities and responding to interested prospects
  • Use Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other prospecting tools to research accounts, identify key contacts, and craft targeted messaging to effectively communicate our value proposition
  • Work with new prospects and current customers to understand their challenges and goals to facilitate meetings with our VP’s of Sales who will lead our strategic sales efforts
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to develop and refine messaging based on performance

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years previous experience in Marketing, Sales, Events, or Health Tech
  • Drive/Achievement- You must have a strong track record of performance in a previous role or in college and a competitive nature in some field. A positive attitude and desire to win are a must. You thrive on challenges and have a proven history of consistently achieving quotas or objectives.
  • Adaptability- you are excited by change vs. change averse. You are adaptable and thrive in new situations where you can think on your feet. You are coachable, able to implement feedback and dedicated to continuous self-improvement.
  • Team Orientation - The ability to forge strong bonds and work collaboratively with key external and internal partners across Sales channels is a must.
  • Process Orientation/Focus - Being able to follow a specific process and iterate on it for maximum results, is a crucial skill. Detail oriented, organized mindset with an ability to manage time effectively.
  • Curiosity- genuinely curious about people, technology and business, with excellent listening skills
  • Communication- You must have strong persuasion and negotiation skills and excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and client relationship skills are critical.
  • Technological Savvy - Strong Internet, email, and Microsoft application skills are required. An understanding of Salesforce would be useful.
  • Maturity/Professionalism- You are cool under pressure, professionally mature, and know how to remain collected and focused in a fast-paced, high pressure, dynamic environment.

WellDoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST compliant environments. Therefore, it is expected that all employees will have either prior experience working in those environments or, will be trained to understand the requirements needed to work and support those requirements and culture as they relate to individual roles and responsibilities.


Education

  • BS or BA Degree in related business field preferred
